Second Line Parade Details - Outside at 10PM Sharp
Gather on the sidewalk outside the Napoleon House entrance on Chartres Street. Be sure to fill your custom to-go cup from the bar and grab your party favors located at the top of the stairway before exiting. A Grand Marshal & Brass Band will lead the way on a leisurely stroll through The French Quarter. The parade route begins and ends at Napoleon House and is 8 blocks or roughly half a mile. You may bring a beverage but must be in a plastic cup or disposable can...no glass. NOPD will escort the parade and block traffic as we proceed down the middle of the street. Feel free to bring a change of shoes for the parade. See parade route map below.
Gentlemen, ties are optional
Renowned for its refreshing Pimm’s Cup cocktail, warm muffuletta sandwich, and “dishy” history as a proffered refuge for the embattled and exiled ex-Emperor of France, the century-old Napoleon House is a French Quarter icon exuding the patina, charm, and authenticity of living history. This 200-year old landmark was recently awarded 2019 "Timeless American" award by Tales of the Cocktail for being a pillar in the community and having provided a benchmark for the industry.
